Also known as gliding cupping; not the same as fire cupping. Prior to applying the cup, oil is administered to the skin to facilitate smooth movement and discover the areas of tension and congestion. The therapist will place the cup on the affected area, create a vacuum and then glide it over the surface. A cup may be "parked" for a short time on stubborn knots or over inflamed joints or tissue. Cupping can be used on the neck, shoulders, back, sacral area, hip, abdomen, thigh, upper arms and calves.

Mud wraps are spa treatments designed to slim and tone the body, hydrate or firm the skin, and relax and soothe the muscles. They are also used to relieve tired and aching joints, ease inflammation, and help to flush out toxins through sweating. A mud wrap begins with the therapist painting the mud onto the skin, wrapping the body in plastic, mylar, and blankets, and allowing the client to remain in the wrap for 20 minutes. At this time the mud is removed from the skin using hot towels, and body butter is applied in the final step to achieve a healthy glow.
